Common Questions
What style of pant are Fisherman Pants?
Fisherman Pants are a tie-up style of pants. They usually feature wide legs, and are often one size fits most. They are designed to be crossed over at the waist wherever you prefer them to sit comfortably.
How exactly do you tie them?
When you stand into your fisherman pants, it might seem like they're too big for you - trust us, they're not! Leave the tie hanging while you grab the two ends of the waistband. Cross them over each other until it sits snug against your tummy. Hold them there and tie it up - that's it!
How do they stay up?
The tie-up design of fisherman pants ensures they do not fall off you. You just need to ensure the strap is tied correctly, and tight enough to not slip down.
Why are they called 'Fisherman Pants'?
Originating in Thailand in the early 1800's, they were a common form of dress for labourers - including fisherman - and the name has stuck.
What types of Fisherman Pants do you offer?
All our fisherman pants are made using cotton fabric. We offer plain colour fisherman pants, or striped cotton. We also offer full leg length or short (three quarter) fisherman pants.
